The primeLine group of companies, located in the heart of digitization, operates an innovative new data center in Limburg an der Lahn through its subsidiary partimus. We are now looking for a passionate Senior Linux Administrator (m/f/d) who specializes in managing our Proxmox landscape, building a Kubernetes cluster for AI workloads and other open source projects. Knowledge of Ubuntu/Debian and automation skills are a great advantage.

Your tasks

Responsibility for the administration, configuration and maintenance of the Proxmox environment
Setup and administration of a Kubernetes cluster for AI workloads
Implementation, configuration and optimization of other open source products in the data center, especially under Ubuntu/Debian
Experience in the automation of processes and workflows
Monitoring the Linux servers and ensuring system stability
Installation, configuration and optimization of open source software solutions
Implementing security guidelines and ensuring data security
Support in the planning and implementation of IT projects
Error analysis and correction as well as performance optimization

Your qualifications

Completed training in the IT sector or comparable qualification
Several years of professional experience in the administration of Linux systems, especially with Ubuntu/Debian
Expertise in the management of Proxmox virtualization environments
Experience in building and administering Kubernetes clusters for AI workloads
Good knowledge of the configuration and administration of open source software
Experience in the implementation of security policies and data protection regulations
Automation skills (e.g. Ansible, Puppet or comparable tools)
Ability to work in a team, initiative and a structured way of working
Willingness to participate in on-call duty and emergency interventions
